Stop by the Shark fin Cove in Santa Cruz
Just in your way inside Santa Cruz you can stop in Davenport to check this amazing natural creation.
Shark Fin Cove is a small beach located just a few miles north of Santa Cruz, and it is known for its unique shark fin-shaped rock formation that sits just offshore. The cove itself is also quite picturesque, with rocky cliffs, sea caves, and a sandy beach.
If you enjoy hiking, exploring scenic areas, or just taking in natural beauty, then Shark Fin Cove can definitely be worth a stop. The hike down to the beach is relatively short and easy, and there are plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
However, it is important to note that swimming at Shark Fin Cove is not recommended due to the strong currents and dangerous surf. The beach is also relatively small, so it can get crowded during peak season. Also getting down by the beach required certain climbing and the steps are very narrow. If you do decide to visit, be sure to take all necessary safety precautions and to respect the natural environment by not leaving any trash behind.

Union Station
Union Station in Los Angeles is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States, owing to its rich history. While you can watch a YouTube video about the history of Union Station, it simply cannot compare to the grandeur of experiencing Union Station in person.
Union Station has long been regarded as a symbol of Los Angeles’ renaissance, and a visit will help you understand why. Make time in your schedule to visit the Union Station tours as well as the art galleries. Union Station is more than just a busy transportation hub. It truly is a landmark in its own right.
Disneyland
Disneyland is one of the world’s best-known theme parks. If you’ve never been, you’ll quickly understand why. However, if you plan on visiting the park, you should start making plans early because it receives millions of visitors each year.
There are major events in the park that coincide with holidays, so it can be even busier than usual at times. The Winter Celebration, for example, begins in November and lasts until January. Christmastime is a particularly busy time in the park, so get your tickets early if you want to enjoy Disneyland’s Christmas decorations and celebrations.
Los Angeles City Hall Observation Deck
City Hall may not be the type of place that most people want to visit in their hometown, but Los Angeles City Hall is one of the best free spots to visit, especially when driving from LA to San Francisco.
The Observation Deck at LA City Hall offers one of the most breathtaking views of the city, so make sure to include a stop here on your itinerary. While it is not open on weekends and has limited weekday hours (Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00), the Observation Deck should definitely be on your list of attractions.
Daiso
Tourists from other countries are frequently enamored with the store, owing to its genuine Japanese authenticity. Daiso should be on your itinerary if you want to spend a few hours in the same place.
Daiso is one of Japan’s most popular variety stores. In fact, the chain is so popular that there is a location in California that you must visit. Daiso is a large store in Union City, California, with over 17,000 square feet.
San Fernando Valley
San Fernando Valley, also known as “The Valley,” is a densely populated area in the Los Angeles basin’s northwest.

What does this imply? It means Rodeo Drive is a popular hangout for A-list celebrities. You don’t have to be a celebrity to visit the area, though. Yes, some of the stores are quite pricey, but this is because they stock items from some of the biggest names in fashion. You may not be drawn to the shopping depending on your personal style, but taking a stroll up and down the area is a great idea. Who can say? While you’re there, you might run into your favorite movie star!

Mountain High Ski Resort
You should also consider visiting some of the world-class ski resorts. It is easily accessible from West Hollywood, depending on the time of year.
